A complete antique French Regency chess set, manufactured in France, housed in a wooden storage box with a velvet-felted base. A characterful piece with genuine antique provenance.
One knight was previously loose and has been reattached (not broken). It has some discolouring which has been left intentionally to preserve authenticity — this can easily be painted over if preferred.
