This vintage chess set features black and cream Staunton pieces crafted from boxwood and ebonised wood. The pieces feel lightly weighted, but not sure, and lacquered for a polished finish. Looks very much like 'Lardy' but I am not certain, (and I am selling it as one), so please make up your own mind. Slight chip to the white Queen, as shown in the image. This is a used item, so please allow for minor wear and tear, commensurate with age and usage. Chess pieces and storage box only, there is NO chessboard with this item.
