The Wooden Antique St. George chess set with a chess board made of quality wood. The set, still unrestored and undamaged, would make a valuable addition to any collector's vintage chess collection. Its classic design and craftsmanship make it a unique and timeless piece of gaming history. I am not sure when it was manufactured, but it is in excellent condition. All pieces are in perfect condition and I have not restored any pieces. The box is damaged and again I have not tried to restore it, but have left it to the eventual buyer, who may decide to restore it himself/herself. The chessboard is not original to the set pieces, is heavy and made of solid wood.
