Lovely resin chess set, purchased 30 years ago, which has been used quite a lot, but is in pretty good condition. The board is solid wood with inlay, and has some slight scratches, commensurate with age (see photos). Each chess piece has a brown felt base for ease of movement; the felt has picked up some dust over the years.
The black dragon pieces are very similar to each other in some cases, so the photographs show them paired with their white counterpart.
The Queen stands 10cm (4 inches) tall
The White Rook stands 10cm (4 inches) tall
The Black Rook stands 5cm (2 inches) tall
The White Pawns measure 6.5cm (2.5 inches) x 5cm (2 inches)
The Black Pawns measure 5cm (2 inches) x 3.5cm (1.25 inches)
The board measures 50cm (19.5 inches) square x 2cm (0.75 inch) deep, with 5cm (2 inch) squares.
