A set of large vintage chess pieces made of wood, featuring a brown and cream colour scheme. The set includes a large chessboard that doubles as a storage case. The pieces are slightly felted for a smooth glide on the chessboard, and lacquered to give a polished look. Please note there are two odd pawns in each colour, but that does not affect the game in any way and is not obviously noticeable — you have to look for them! Please see the last two images. This is a used item, so please allow for minor wear and tear, commensurate with age and usage.
