A set of Staunton wooden chess pieces with a large solid chessboard measuring 45 x 45 x 2 cm. The king stands at a mighty 3.25 inches (8.25 cm). The pieces are weighted, felted, and lacquered in brown and cream — rounded and sturdy, with a no-nonsense feel. The chessboard is solid and thick at 2.0 cm. This is a used item, so please allow for minor wear and tear commensurate with age and usage. There is some small damage to the chessboard as shown in the images, but this does not interfere with play. Not many sets like this come to market — a real collector's item. Includes 2 extra queens as shown in the images.
