This is a fabulous Chess Set that is designed in a Chinese style — I really do not know where it was made. I have marked it as being made of a Celluloid material, however I cannot be sure; it actually feels like it could be a very dense timber, or in fact a dense plastic. Whatever it is, it feels fabulous. For its size it is heavy — it measures 215mm in diameter and is 40mm thick. The actual chess pieces vary in height from 21mm to 43mm.
