This is a vintage 'LARDY' boxwood chess set from France. The set features felted and lacquered kings measuring 9.0cm in height. The chess set comes in a classic brown and Cream colours, suitable for both young anf elderly. The Wooden pieces arer expertly carved by a professional and it shows in the end product! There is no chessboard, but has an aged wooden storage box, as shown in the images.
